Generally, the frontal region is the most important – it’s what you see in the mirror and what people see when talking to you. The crown is less obvious but usually needs more grafts to cover it fully as hair tends to grow in different directions. Private Hair loss Consultation with your surgeon: £75

At IK Clinics we take pride in offering all of our patients a face to face consultation with the industry leading hair loss specialist and clinical surgeon who will be performing your procedure. We are not a nurse led clinic – your consultation, treatment and aftercare will all be performed by a clinical surgeon.

This enables the surgeon to see your hair up close and make an assessment of your scalp skin as well as the suitability of your donor hair for a transplant.

During your consultation with the hair loss specialist, the exact cause of your hair loss will be identified and various options to treat your thinning hair will be discussed with you.

We don’t advise a video consultation as it’s very easy to misdiagnose treatment due to varying lighting and camera issues – we always recommend an in office, face to face consultation! We have found that doing it this way avoids missing potential issues such as scalp conditions and colour variations. These are common mistakes that are made during telephone/video consultations.

Private Hair loss prescription : £75

Depending on the nature and rate of progression of your hair loss, it may be beneficial for you to take some tablets to improve the strength of your existing hair. There may also be skin conditions which we suggest are treated with a prescription to improve scalp health.

Dr Khan specialises in treating skin issues as well as hair loss. She is able to issue private prescriptions for medications. If a prescription is issued, then it is charged separately.

Hair Transplant Deposit & Payment

A non refundable deposit of £1000 is requested to book the date of your hair transplant procedure. No date is reserved until a deposit is received. This is to ensure that the client has committed to their procedure date and after care advice.
Once a transplant date is confirmed, their treatment plans are drawn and reviewed, non refundable bespoke surgical kits are ordered for each patient, and a surgical team is booked for that date.
The final balance of the complete procedure price should be paid at least one week before the surgery.

Cancellations

Due to above reasons, there can be NO refund of deposit after 72 hours from booking of the procedure date.
If the procedure is cancelled within 7 days of the confirmed date, the client shall pay the full and total balance due to the high probability that the clinic will not be able to fill that date/dates. This is due to the fact that hair transplants need a lot of planning on part of both the clinic and the client and as such hair transplants are booked well in advance and cancelled dates are extremely difficult to fill on short notice.

Postponement

Once again, hair transplants need a lot of planning and are booked well in advance. Should the client choose to postpone their previously confirmed transplant date for any reason, we need at least 28 days notice.

Any postponement with less than 28 days notice will incur a charge of the total deposit paid for each postponed procedure date.

Unforeseen Circumstances Clause:

If IK Clinics cannot perform a clients procedure as planned due to a fire, casualty, strike or other civil disturbances, acts of God, including but not limited to, pandemics, road closures, severe traffic, fire, terrorism or other causes beyond the control of the parties, or due to staff illness, then IK Clinics shall make best efforts to complete procedure at another date suitable to both parties, free of further charge to client.
